Lisa-Maria Winter’s work bridges the gap between biological sciences and advanced data analytics, with a strong focus on descriptive modeling, explainable AI and data fusion. After completing both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in biochemistry, she specialized in biophysics and bioinformatics. In 2020, she joined Boehringer Ingelheim’s development team as a specialist for fluorescence microscopy and spatial proteomics. Since 2024, Lisa-Maria is pursuing her PhD in data science and analytics in cooperation with Boehringer Ingelheim Pharma GmbH & Co.KG, University of Ulm, and the University of Applied Sciences in Ulm. Her PhD project focuses on leveraging historical data to generate new biological insights, aiming to enhance the understanding and integration of complex biological data.
