Guru completed his PhD in Indian Statistical Institute, Delhi in 2013, specializing in random networks and has since completed postdocs in EPFL Lausanne, NYU Abu dhabi, IMSc Chennai and IISER Bhopal. Recently, he works on mathematical aspects of redundancy in big data and decentralized learning and is currently a postdoc at the INFORMED-AI hub of University of Bristol.
